I Miss You - Part One

“Stop it Aubrey!” Nicki giggled as Drake wrestled her to the grass in the park over her bag of chips. She held the chips above her head as he pinned her by her waist to the ground. “Someone’s going to see!” She screamed as he tried to move up her body and reach for the chips.

“So!” Drake laughed, grabbing for the Bon Ton bag. Nicki tossed the chip bag with one hand and used all the strength she had to shift the dominance. She now straddled drake, holding his arms above his head, she thought she was doing something, but come on now, she’s only 5’2.

“I got you.” She spoke victoriously, laughing in Drake’s face.

“You got me.” Drake licked his lips, smirking at Nicki. “What now?” He questioned. Nicki bit her bottom lip, while moving in on Drake’s lips to place a soft kiss onto them. “Love you.” He spoke in between the kisses.

“I love you too.” Nicki groaned nibbling on his bottom lip. He smiled against her lips, and turned them over so that he was on top. “Don’t forget about me Aubrey.” Nicki spoke as he kissed down her neckline.

“I could never forget about yo sexy ass.” Drake joked wiggling his eyebrows, making Nicki screech in laughter. She always found that funny because of his bushy brows.

“Don’t get to Florida and try to replace me.” Nicki spoke seriously placing her hand under Drake’s chin, making him look into her eyes.

“Nobody could ever take your place Nic.” He spoke honestly, kissing her forehead, then rolling off of her to try his hand at getting the chips. But as soon as he went to stand up, Nicki was on his back.

“Congrats graduate!” Carol smiled at her daughter as Nicki unzipped her gown walking over to them. She snapped an unposed picture of Nicki before grabbing her face and kissing her cheek.

“Thanks Mommy.” Today was bittersweet day for both Nicki and Drake. They would both be heading out tomorrow to different parts of the country to start college life. Carol insisted that Nicki go in the next few months to give herself a break, but Nicki wanted to get started right away so that she could figure out how life would be in California. Drake had no choice in the matter, preseason football conditioning started today so he would be shipped off to Florida.

“We did it!” Nicki was swept off her feet by Drake as she squealed, he picked her up bridal style in his arms as their parents took pictures of the two. “Congratulations Ms. Valedictorian.” Drake kissed her cheek.

“Thank you kindly.” She smirked at him as she caressed his cheek. “I love it when you don’t shave. My little caveman.” She kissed his chin.

“Eww, y’all are scaring the children!” Shanell’s loud voice interrupted their moment, making Nicki smack her teeth and Drake put her down. Nicki hadn’t even noticed her mother had left, she didn’t even hear when she said she was leaving she was so engrossed in Drake.

“...And I would like to say fuck this school! Fuck the teachers! Fuck administration! Fuck that bitch ass uniform policy! Whoever made up the SAT’s I would like to say Suck a big black dick! Fuck the bitch ass nurse, everytime a nigga faked sick she ain’t want to let me go home, she knew what the fuck I was trying to do! Fuck you very much! Scaffbeezy OWT!” Nicki shook her head as the teachers who were still around looked at Safaree with wide eyes and the parents mumbled about him as he walked over to their small group.

“You fowl man.” Drake said giving him dap.

“Nigga, that’s not something to praise.” Nicki said breaking up their little handshake.

“I can’t stand your ignorant ass.” Shanell began.

“You love me.” Safaree said wrapping his arm around Shanell’s shoulder.

“In your dreams!” She shrugged his shoulder off and pushed him away from him. Nobody understood why she would always hide her attraction to Safaree, everyone knew she like him. Nicki was the only person she’d ever admitted it to though.

“You were in them.”

“Let’s get out of here.” Drake whispered in Nicki’s ear as he grabbed her hand. Nicki chuckled and agreed.

“Fuck Nigga! Get off of me. We all know you been touchin yoself!” That was the last thing Nicki and Drake heard from Shanell as they walked out of the auditorium.

Nicki held onto Drake’s torso for dear life as she cried into his shirt at the airport. She felt like he was about to rip her heart out of her chest. As far as she was concerned, half of her heart was about to board a plane and fly to the other side of the country. Drake held her tight to him as he was rethinking his whole decision on leaving altogether. Nicki was the one for him, he knew that this could potentially be the end of their 5 year relationship. No matter how many times Sandi fed him ‘If it’s true love, she’ll always be there’ , he knew the reality of the situation.

Boarding flight 57 to Los Angeles

Nicki’s flight was called making her clutch onto Drake’s shirt tighter. “Don’t let me go baby.”She sobbed. She meant in way more ways than one and Drake could tell by the conviction in her voice.

“I got you mama.” Nicki moved her face from his shirt, looking up at him. Drake wiped at her eyes with his thumbs, then placing a sweet kiss on her lips.

“Pink promise.” Nicki held up her tiny pinky. Drake matched it with his before wrapping it around her.

“Pinky Promise.” Nicki answered. She backed away from Drake hugging her parents and her brother’s once more.

Last call for flight 57 to Los Angeles

Nicki grabbed her bags, ready to leave. “Nic!” Drake called out. She turned around to him. “I love you.” He told her setting her emotions off again. Boarding the plane, by herself, Nicki wondered how she was going to survive a life without Drake. Drake turned his face from his family, as he wiped his face with his shirt, not wanting them to see the falling tears.

8 Months Later

“I’m saying thou-” Nicki was cut off when she bumped into a tall figure while walking to her class with her roommate Amber. Nicki and Drake spoke everyday on the phone when they first got to their colleges, now it was more like 2 times a week if they were lucky. They still loved each other, but college life is time consuming. “Excuse me.” Nicki said walking around the guy.

“He was cute girl.” Amber nudged Nicki making Nicki look back at the guy. He was sexy, chiseled features, mocha colored skin, dreads to the center of his back. Still, he didn’t compare to her Aubrey. “C’mon Ms. Nicki Minaj,” Nicki had gained the name because some guy in her Psyc class, caught on to the fact her name was Maraj and switched it. It kind of stuck after that. “You haven’t touched one piece of sexy flesh since you’ve been here.”

“I have a boyfriend.” Nicki flashed her promise ring as the two walked into the hall. “I plan to have one when I get back for break.” Nicki told her.

“You don’t say, there’s still good girls in the world today.” Amber said as the two looked for a seat, they chose the back. Quiet as kept, Nicki needed some attention and Drake wasn’t giving it to her. Things weren’t peachy over at FSU either. With Drake being a Freshman, but managed to become what of the starter playes, he was looking real good for drafting season, and every girl wanted a piece of him.
