Short Story : Hate That I Love You

Whoop! Whoop! So these comments I have been getting have been making me all giddy inside ^_^! Now onto what you guys are using me for : ‘Picture Perfect’ *sigs* People, listen. I’ve wrote a few things for it but I don’t want to post it because I don’t feel like they’re up to par. Reason for that is, I have everyone’s personality down pact except Mr. Drizzy Drake. Like I know Nic, Ava and Josiah.. I know what makes them tick, makes them happy, their favourite food... all that good stuff, but with Drake, I figure he has to be more than just the nice guy all the time. So I must spend more time with him, listen to his music 24/7, watch interviews, so that I can make it believable  and most of all better. I know some of y’all are like STFU and just write the damn story and to those of you who are thinking that...

Stop being an impatient heffa and chill the hell owt! :p

But seriously , I think this Short story is helping me see Mr. Graham in a different light. So if you comment on this maybe (maybe) it’ll boost my energy for PP! I

Seventeen year old Onika looked around the unfamiliar house, arms crossed and scowl on her face as she trailed behind Robert. He was visibly uncomfortable, never spending more than 5 minutes with his own daughter in her whole entire life, but now they were forced into this awkward arrangement. “Uhh, this is the kitchen. I don’t really cook, usually take out.” Robert shrugged. Nicki looked around the small kitchen and rolled her eyes, typical. “Do you like Chinese?”

“No. I hate it.” Nicki spoke harshly. “Can you show me to my room?” She asked. Robert looked down at the floor and then back up at Nicki.

“Sure babygirl.” Nicki gagged at his term of endearment. He led her through the narrow hallway to the back of the house, to a small, plain room. A twin sized bed, stripped of its sheets sat against the pale walls. A small white dresser sat in the opposite corner, and against the window was a tiny brown desk with a lamp. “It’s not much, but it’s the best I could do on such short notice.” Robert rubbed the back of his neck. “We can get more stuff when I get pa--”

“It’s fine.” Nicki cut him off, stepping into what she now knew to be her room.

“If you need anything, I’ll be down the hall.” Robert, not knowing what else to say, backed up out of her room. Nicki quickly slammed the door and let out a ear piercing scream. She sat on the bed, that she thought just might have bugs in it.

“Ma, why you leave me?” Nicki asked looking up at the ceiling. “I don’t even know this man! He doesn’t know me. I’m living in a house with a complete stranger who thinks just because we share some of the same DNA, he’s my father. He hasn’t been in my life for 17 years, I’m basically grown. I can take care of my damn self. This house looks like it should be repossessed or something. I just wish you would come back Mommy. I miss you.”  Nicki took off her jacket and laid it out across the mattress so that her head wouldn’t have to touch the filthy fabric. She then laid down. Robert stood just outside the door and had heard Nicki, he felt terrible. He’d have to make it up to her, make up for the years he was absent in her life. When Carol died, he was the first one to step up and say that he wanted to have custody of his teenage daughter, finally get to know her. He was young and dumb when Carol gotten pregnant and he left.
----
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me” Nicki groaned as she heard loud music playing from a car outside. She opened her eyes and rolled them, realizing that this all wasn’t just a scary dream but her twisted reality. She swung herself from the bed and walked to the chipping window. She noticed she could see clear through the the window of a house across the street. “Need some damn blinds in this bootleg ass house.” She muttered. She was about to turn around when she noticed a boy coming into the room, a sexy boy at that. She watched as he closed his door then snatch his shirt off of his body. Nicki smirked and licked her lips, this could be fun. She studied the mountains of abs and muscles that made him look so...edible. She took in a breath as he went to take off his basketball shorts. She was so into it, she didn’t notice when he stopped and squinted his eyes to see better. She didn’t notice he was staring right at her. When he rushed to the window and snatched his blinds closed Nicki fell to the floor in embarrassment.

“Oh my god. Maybe he didn’t see you Onika, maybe you’re being paranoid.” She ran a hand through her hair and let out a breath. That’s what she gets for being a creepy stalker. She picked herself up from off the floor and looked around what she considered to be a jail cell. What could she do here but die a slow and miserable death. She sat back on top of her jacket that was across her bed. She just sat there for a while, until she heard Robert call her name. She wasn’t going to answer, but decided she was hungry and he may have ordered some food.

Walking out of the room and down the narrow hallway, she cursed herself and considered running when she saw the boy from across the street in the doorway and Robert talking to him. ‘Why me GOD?’ “Come here Nicki.” Robert looked back. Nicki slowly, with her head held high, walked over to them, standing a few feet away from Robert as the boy stared at her. “Drake, here, says he caught you staring at him, a little earlier.”

“Me? Staring?” Nicki’s strategy was simple; denial.

“Don’t try and play dumb, I saw you!” Drake accused.  Nicki’s eyebrows scrunched together at his harsh tone.

“Why would I stare at you!? Please, humor me!” Nicki placed a hand on her hip.

“Such a damn liar! You need to get some curtains or something!” Drake said.

“Alright kids, calm down.” Robert stepped in. “I’ll get this situation solved. Drake won’t you go back over to your house, we won’t have this problem anymore. Nicki, there’s cereal, you can grab a bowl.” Nicki rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen and grabbed the box of cinnamon toast crunch from the top of the fridge. She watched the door as Robert and this Drake kid said a few more words to each other until he had left. She watched as Robert closed the door and walked over to her. “Aye, just like your pops. No milk.” Nicki looked down at her hand stuck deep inside of the cereal box.

“I guess.” Robert sighed and went to the back of the house. He’d have to try harder.  After Nicki was finished she grabbed the LV bag she had brought with her, from by the door and was bringing it back into her room when she heard the sound of something banging. Stepping into the room she saw Robert nailing a pillowcase to cover her window. She scoffed and plopped her bag onto the bed. “I wasn’t watching him.” She argued defensively.

“I believe you. Now he can’t accuse you.” Robert reasoned, collecting his nails from off the desk. “And it gives you your own privacy.” With that Robert walked out of her room. Nicki shrugged and grabbed some things to take her shower with. After her shower she dressed in her dark true religion jeans, Victoria Secret PINK crop top and her LV sneakers. “You look nice.” Robert complimented as Nicki walked into the tiny living room.

“Thanks.” She mumbled and sat on the couch across from the Laz-y boy that Robert was occupying. He knew that Carol had money and he could never make Nicki feel as ‘luxurious’ as Carol made her.

“What’s your favourite food?” Robert suddenly asked. Nicki glanced his way and shrugged.

“Spaghetti , I guess.” She answered.

“I’m not saying it’ll come out like your mom’s, but I’m going to go pick up some food from the store..you know to eat for dinner tonight, since you’re not a fan of Chinese food.” He stood up, grabbing his keys out of his pocket. Instead of even acknowledging his presence, Nicki leaned forward grabbing the remote from the coffee table and switching channels on the TV. He once again sighed and left out of the house. Nicki watched a few episodes of The Backyardigans, giggling to herself at them. She turned her head to the door when she heard a lawn mower cutting on. She stood up , going over to the window, she could see Drake getting ready to cut the grass. This was her chance to set the record straight.

She fixed her shirt and walked out of the house, walking briskly across the street. Drake who looked like he was having a hard time with the mower, looked up when her shadow blocked his light. “Can I help you?” He asked with attitude.

“I don’t appreciate you telling Robert that I was staring at you. You got some fucking nerve!” Nicki screamed. Drake stood up straight, wiping the sweat from his forehead and looked down at Nicki.

“Listen, you can try and play your father but don’t come over here trying to lie to me. Tell yourself what you have to for you to sleep at night.” Drake told her. Nicki was upset but impressed at the same time. Most guys would give into anything she wanted, beckon at her call, but this Drake character act like he could careless.

“You-”

“Save your breath and just leave. Don’t you have some fucking shoes you need to be organizing?” Drake asked sarcastically. Nicki placed her hand on her hip.

“Nigga, you don’t know me!” She vexed.

“I don’t have to know you to know what you’re about. You’re some spoiled little girl who’s used to getting everything she wants with the snap of her fingers. You come here with your ‘Im better than everyone’ attitude and expect everyone to fall at your feet. Looking down on everyone who don’t have the latest shoes or somebody who doesn’t drive the fastest car. A basic rich girl who’s been dropped off in the middle of nowhere. Newsflash Dorothy :  This isn’t Kansas anymore..in your case Beverly Hills. The world doesn’t revolve around you! You can’t throw a fucking hissy fit and everybody run to save you. I don’t know how it worked from where you're from, but you’re in Compton now. ” Nicki felt belittled. She felt like running, but in true Nicki fashion she masked her hurt.

“Now it’s my turn.” She stepped closer to him, so that their chest was only centimeters away from each other. “You’re an asshole with a temper problem who doesn’t know how to get his point across without yelling. A nigga who’s mad at the world, but NEWSFLASH: This world ain’t do shit to you but let you live in it. You walk around all day upset at the small shit in life when other people have problems that you may never in your whole life get to experience, but you act like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Think somebody owes you something, me nor anybody else does. And let’s get one thing straight, I’m from Queens nigga and the next time you get slick at the mouth, I’ll make sure you never forget it.” When Nicki stopped talking the two had an intense stare down, each wanting to do nothing more than to hit one another.

“Aubrey! Lawn! Now!” Nicki looked over to see a buff man that resembled Drake, barking out orders. Drake glared at Nicki once more before trying to start the mower again.

“Bye.” Nicki waved as if they’d just had a friendly conversation and walked back across the street, Drake’s words still ringing in her ears. What hurt the most is that some of it were true, but she wouldn’t admit it to herself.

I Miss You -- Part 2

(Nicki)

Nicki propped her foot up on one of the many benches around campus, tying her Adidas (PLUG! ^_^). She took a sip of her Dasani, before dropping her leg and continuing with her jog around campus. She’d just joined the volleyball team and the fact that Amber had her up eating pizza and watching scary movies last night was the reason she chose to get up and run early this morning. She ran to the sound of Beyonce ‘End of Time’ it always got her into the right mindset.

As she ran, she noticed the guy she had bumped into yesterday flagging her down as he leaned against on the the doors of the dormitory. She took one of the headphones out of her ear and jogged over to him. “Kind of early to be jogging isn’t it?” He questioned.

“Kind of early to be stalking, isn’t it?” Nicki smirked, putting a hand on her bare hip. She wore pink and grey Nike shorts, a grey sports bra and her hair in a high ponytail. The dreaded beauty laughed at Nicki.

“I wasn’t stalking. One of my roommates is upstairs smoking and I can’t stand the smell.” He admitted. At this point, Nicki didn’t understand why she was over here talking to him. She had to wake Amber in 30 minutes and she needed to get back to her dorm.

“Ok. Well, I have to get going I--” She started to put her earphone back in but he stopped her.

“I’ve seen you around campus. Isaiah by the way. Would you like to go out for pizza or something?” He asked her rubbing the back of his neck and looking down at her. He was nervous. Nicki blushed as she smiled and opened her mouth.

“I..”

(Drake,)

“Good game Graham!” Coach Ryers patted Drake’s back as he took off his pads.

“Thanks coach!” Drake took a swig of his gatorade as Noah, one of Drake’s friends came over to sit on the bench with him.

“Everybody’s going to my dorm after this man, you comin?” Drake looked over at Noah. Drake shook his head.

“Nah man, I’m cool.” Drake answered. Noah sucked his teeth making Drake laugh. Drake was always invited to these dorm parties but he always turned them down because he knew how wild things could get and he had to remember he had a girlfriend that he would be going back home to, but the temptation was always there, he never fed into it though. After Noah had walked off, Drake changed into his clothes and left out of the locker room.

“Hey Star Playa.” Porsha, one of Drake’s classmates and friend said, pushing herself up from the wall she was leaning on. Porsha was a beautiful girl, not compared to Nicki, but she was still beautiful. Drake would sometimes help her study when they had a test coming up.

“Wassup Porsh?” Drake and her started walking towards his car that he rented while out here.

“Congratulations on the game. Still undefeated.” She smiled looking him over, he smiled in her direction and took out his keys unlocking his door. “Listen, I need your help with this math stuff. What are you doing tonight?” Drake looked over at the clock, it read 7:45.

“Nothin’, I guess we could shoot over to the library.” He shrugged, unlocking the passenger side door. Porsha happily claimed the passenger seat as hers and she closed the door as the two took off.

(Nicki.)

“Communications major.” Isaiah answered Nicki’s questioned. They sat across from each other at Maria’s Pizzeria. Nicki sipping on a bottle of water while Isaiah ate the fires that they were sharing.

“I wouldn’t peg you as the communications type.” Nicki admitted.

“Really? What would you ‘peg’ me as?” Nicki tilted her head at his question as she studied Isaiah. He was so buff and chiseled and his dreads shaped his baby face perfectly.

“Honestly, I wouldn’t even go as far as saying I thought you went to college.” They both laughed at this and Isaiah put his hand over his chest.

“Ouch, tell me how you really feel.” He watched as Nicki covered her mouth with her hand as she laughed, The way she threw her head back and it sounded like the laugh was coming from her soul. She was absolutely beautiful, breathtaking. Nicki stopped laughing when she saw him staring at her.

“What, something on my face?” She questioned, wiping her hands over her cheek.

“No, no.” He shook himself from his daze. “Ready to go?”

“Oh! I forgot about Amber. Yea, we have to go.” Nicki answered standing from the booth, grabbing her water. The two walked out of the pizzeria. Isaiah decided to walk Nicki back to her dorm. The two laughed and joked the whole way there. “Thanks for ruining what progress I made with my jog this morning.” Nicki said stopping in front of her building.

“What are friends for?” Isaiah asked but soon after cursed himself for putting himself in the friends category.

“Well, I had fun. Let me get upstairs and wake this girl up before she kills me. Thanks.” Nicki turned to leave but Isaiah pulled her back by her arm. “Wha--” Nicki was cut off by his lips on top of hers. She froze. What the hell was that? Who goes around kissing people they’ve only known for an hour. Nicki’s mind quickly jump to Drake’s face. Regaining her sense she quickly pushed him off.

“I’m sorry Nicki.”

“No. You didn’t know. Don’t worry about it.”

“Didn’t know what?” Isaiah asked, raising his eyebrow.

“I have a boyfriend.” Nicki’s mind started racing. “And he would kill me if he knew that just happened! I have to go.” Nicki rushed through the doors of the dormitory. She was panicking, was that considered cheating? Did she just cheat........... on Drake!?

(Drake.)

“See. You don’t even need my help.” Drake complemented Porsha as he checked over her answers to the questions he gave her. Porsha clapped her hands, making all heads in the library snap towards her. That small gesture reminded him of Nicki, when she got really excited she would squeal or make a funny face, just off impulse.

“Whatcha thinkin about?” Porsha asked as she saw a small smile grow on to Drake’s face.

“Nicki.” Drake answered closing the textbook. Porsha adjusted herself in her seat.

“Oh.” She looked down. “Drake, I don’t want to come off rude or anything but as your friend, I just want to ask you; do you think your girlfriend is being just as faithful as you are to her?” (#HoesBeSchemin)  Drake looked over at Porsha and handed her, her books. Porsha noticed the frown setting on Drake’s face. “I mean I never see you guys on the phone anymore. When I first met you your phone used to be glued to your ear.”

“We both understand that we’re busy. Not that it’s your business or anything. I trust Nicki and I know she trusts me too. I’m secure in my relationship.” Drake answered.

“Oh,ok.” Porsha answered putting her books into her bag. “I just don’t want to see you hurt Drizzy.” Porsha said.

“I appreciate your concern, but I’m good.” Drake reassured her. “Hungry?” He asked changing the subject.

“Starved.” The two left out of the library and Drake drove them to Checkers to which he paid for. Drake looked at the time on the dashboard as he drove to go back to the dorms. That’s weird, he didn’t get a phone call from Nicki all day. Usually she would’ve been called. He picked up his phone from the cup holder, glancing over at Porsha as she picked around her salad. Stopping at a red light, he took the opportunity to call Nicki. It just rang and rang.

Hi, You’ve reached Nicki. Do what you gotta do after the beep
Beeeeeeeeeeeeep
.

“The fuck Nic?” He spoke his frustrations out loud, listening to the voicemail. Porsha turned her lips up.

“Don’t play the fool Drake.” She told him. Drake glared at her. Nicki wouldn’t. She’ll call him back.

(Nicki.)

Nicki pressed the ignore on her phone when she saw Drake’s name. “Girl! Just answer the damn phone.” Amber said as she painted her toes.

“I can’t. I feel like a whore.” Nicki groaned, flopping down on her bed.

“A whore? Really Nic?” Amber snickered.

“Yes! I know if I tell him, he’s going to flip and if I don’t I’m going to feel so guilty.” Nicki groaned again. “If he kissed another girl, I swear I’d kill her and him both and I don’t blame him if he breaks up with me after I tell him.”

“And the award for best dramatic scene goes to... Onika Maraj for her role in “Get The Fuck Over It, He Kissed You Not The Other Way Around.” Nicki sat up and tossed her pillow at Amber hitting her head, making her laugh. “Seriously Nicki, it’s not that big of a deal. If it means that much to you then tell him. I admit you were wrong for even agreeing to go out with dude but the kiss was totally not your fault.”

“I guess the reason I feel so bad is because I kind of liked it.” Nicki mumbled making Amber snap her head up to her. “I mean, I wished it were Drake’s lips and for a second I thought they were but then when I realized they weren’t it was too late.” Amber closed the polish and sat it on the end table that separated her and Nicki’s beds.

“That’s just as bad as saying ‘While I was with him all I could think about is you’” Amber mocked a fake hoodrat voice.

“You’re not too good at making me feel better.”

“My job is not to always tell you what will make you smile.” Amber reminded her. “Now get some sleep and call him in the morning.” Nicki reluctantly fell back onto her bed and pulled her phone to her face when she saw her and Drake picture. She quickly pressed ignore and then turned it off. How was she supposed to sleep tonight?

(Drake.)

Drake groaned as he got Nicki’s voicemail again. He laid down in bed. He didn’t have a roommate so he was alone. It was a Thursday and he and Nicki usually talked on Mondays and Thursdays when they didn’t have early classes the next morning. But every night they would get  a text and he didn’t receive one from Nicki. He was worried. Drake got up from his bed when he heard a knock at the door. He looked at it confused before getting up and throwing on a T-shirt. He already had on basketball shorts. He opened the door and was surprised to see Porsha.

“How’d you in here?” He questioned.

“Snuck past securtiy.” She shrugged. “Thought you might could use someone tonight?” She held up ‘Martin Season 2’ and 3 bags of chips. Drake sighed, might as well, He wasn’t tired and there was nothing else to do.

“Sure, come in.”

Sex Aint Better Than Love

“Here you go.” Nicki handed the fast food bag to the impatient customer before welcoming the next to her register. As hot as it was today she could’ve melted right then and there. Speaking of hot, Drake, Nicki’s coworker came walking in the door 2 hours late. Nicki reached under the counter,  threw Drake his apron and he caught it in the air. Nicki watched as the female customers never took their eyes off of him as he made his way to the back with her, agitating her. “What was her name?” Nicki questioned, filling up a cup with Sprite.

“Good morning to you too, Boo.” Drake teased, cocking the hat to the side. Nicki despised the way he called her ‘Boo’ made her feel like she was another one of his hoes. Not someone he had known since they were 12. “To answer your question, I think her name was Carly.”

“Carly? As in bold-legged Carly from 42nd?” Nicki asked incredulously, patting the lid down on the cup and rushing it back to the customer.

“Nobody wasn’t worried about her legs.” Drake smirked as he welcomed his first customer. Nicki watched out of the corner of her eye as he flirted with the Dominican girl. The girl twirled her hair around her finger, leaning over exposing her cleavage to an all too eager Drake. He placed his finger under her chin, whispering something into her ear, making her blush and Nicki’s skin boil.

“Miss, are you ok?” Nicki snapped back to her customer at the sound of her voice. She looked down at the cup of sprite she’d crushed under her grip, spilling Sprite all over the counter and register. She hurriedly grabbed some napkins wiping up her mess.

“I’m sorry. I’ll get you another one.” She was letting Drake hoeish ways get to her. It was consuming her every being. Getting in the way of her job. She found herself wanting to strangle Drake and any girl who came close to him. Scratch that, any girl who even looked in Drake’s direction with lustful eyes, she wanted to rip their eyes out their sockets and shove it down their throats. Only Drake could make her have homicidal thoughts, she had no idea why. Maybe it was the way he acted like he had no care in the world, like he could screw anything that was walking. It irked her to the core.

Soon lunch time came around which was much needed. “Boo, you going out for lunch?” Drake asked, slipping his apron off and throwing it back under the counter. Nicki slipped her apron off and placed it under the counter also. It was only where her and Drake put their aprons, everyone else hung theirs in the back but Nicki hated that because it would get the smell of the grease.

“Yea. I’m going to Cold Stones. Coming?” Nicki asked going to get her bag with Drake following. No matter how much Drake got on her nerves, he was still one of her best friends. As they walked, Drake glared at his co-workers whose eyes were following Nicki’s ample assets. Noticing the look on Drake’s face they turned their attention.

“Yup. Member we used to beg your mother everyday to go. Who would’ve thought clumsy lil Nika, would learn how to drive.” Drake teased.

“Shut up.” Nicki laughed hitting his chest. She grabbed her bag and they were on their way to Cold Stones. When they got in line, Nicki grabbed at her purse taking out her wallet.

“You hurt me bad Nic.” Nicki locked up at him confused as he placed a hand over his heart. “You think I’m going to let you pay.” He reached in his pocket taking out a wad of bills. Drake didn’t only work at the fast food place, he also helped his uncle out on the weekends at construction where he received a pretty shiny penny for that. Nicki smiled at him, tucking her wallet back into her bag.

“Let me guess. Strawberry?” Nicki questioned.

“Let me guess. Cookies and Cream.” Their faces mirrored the same smiles. Drake pulled on her hand as they moved up to the register. As Drake ordered Nicki noticed the look on the cashier’s face as she noticed their hands intertwined.

“You have a girlfriend? Too bad.” She glanced at Nicki. Nicki cocked her head back and flared her nostrils. A sure sign she was about to go off. “You’re too cute for that.” She nodded her head towards Nicki.

“Listen..” Nicki looked at her name tag. “TRIXie, you got one more word before my size 5 is up your narrow, infested a--”

“Woah.” Drake grabbed her shoulders pulling her back. “Calm down.”

“Calm down?” Nicki vexed. She snatched her ice cream off the counter. “Dirty Bitch.” Nicki snatched some napkins, leaving Drake and this girl, flirting at the counter as she went to sit at one of the table fuming. ‘Calm down’ he says, like she wasn’t just disrespected and referred to as ‘that’. Like this bitch didn’t just disregard her whole existence. Drake strolled over to the table, holding a napkin between his fingers.

“My bad Boo, I ain’t mean it li--”

“You got her number didn’t you?” Nicki squinted at him. He looked down at the napkin and tossed it.

“Ain’t like I’ma call her.”

“Unbelievable.” Nicki shook her head and took a spoonful of Ice cream into her mouth.

“Aww, is my boo mad?” Drake asked in a baby voice. Nicki rolled her eyes. Drake scooted his seat so that he was sitting next to her. “Boo.” He nudged her with his elbow.

“Quit it Aubrey.” She snapped.

“Ouch, Aubrey huh?” He grabbed the small spoon out of his ice cream and dipped it into Nicki’s. She slapped his hand just as he got some. “Yours taste better than mine. Let’s share.”

“I don’t share Ice cream.” Nicki reminded him, picking up the paper container and turning her body away from Drake. “Why don’t you share with your new bitch over there.” She knew she sounded like a jealous school girl, but she already said it.

“Cause, I want to share with you.” Drake reached over her shoulder and dipped his spoon inside. “Trust me Boo, I’m not checkin for that girl.” He grabbed Nicki’s arm turning her to face him. He saw the look on Nicki’s face and his smile deteriorated. If he didn’t know any better, he’d say she was hurt. “Bo--”

“Do you ever get tired?” Nicki questioned. “Honestly. Is sex all you want out of life? When will you get tired of feeding all these naive girls false hopes that they can be with you, only for you to run to the next ass in less than a week.”

“It’s not like I told her to say the shit she said and it’s not like I’m forcing these girls to do anything they don’t want to. Just havin fun.”

“Fun? At whose expense?” Nicki slipped her phone out of her pocket.

“Where is all of this coming from Nicki.”

“We have to get back to work.” Nicki almost whispered and stood up without another word, leaving Drake confused. How could she blame him, get mad even? He was only 20 and still having fun. All the woman in his life wanted him to settle down. His mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and now his best friend. He don’t ask females to basically worship him, they just do. He got up from the table.

“Call me baby.” Trixie, hollered from behind the register.

“Don’t wait up.” Drake told her walking out and going to Nicki’s car. Maybe that’s what Nicki was talking about, him playing with girls emotions like that. He didn’t know that the emotions that he were playing with was Nicki’s. He was playing with something so fragile, her heart. He had it and she wanted it back but she knew she wouldn’t get it back anytime soon. No matter how much she tried to ignore or deny it she had it bad for Drake.
